Jason Buck Corbett
I have been in love with all music genres since I was a youngster. The two that influenced me the most were Honky-tonk country and western (Cowboy). I grew up listening to Country. I used to sing along with my cousins. I just recently found out that my Dad won a singing contest on the radio back in the late thirties. So I guess I got my singing ability from him.
When I got old enough to go to the movies, it was to see the “B” western stars. That’s when I fell in love with the great harmonies sung by groups like The Sons of the Pioneers, Foy Willing and the Riders of the Purple Sage and The Cass County Boys. They have helped me to develope my “Western” style of singing.
Since embarking on this career, I have been fortunate to have played at places like: The Gene Autry Museum, Taste of Encino, and various benefits. Hugh O’Brians “HOBY” was one that I had a wonderful time playing. I was part of a program that included Paul Hendel and The Lost Canyon Rangers.
My group and I have entertained at many venues. We play every first and third Wednesdays at Vincenzos in Santa Clarita. We have played the Coffee Gallery Backstage, Bean Town, The Hart Musuem Hall, and we had great crowd at the Blue Ridge Pickin’ Parlor.
Up-coming events will be put on the schedule page as we get bookings.
Hope you enjoy this web-site as much as we do.
